Anyone who has travelled internationally in the last 14 days must not visit our campuses.

Coronavirus Precautions

All RSA/RCG courses are still proceeding as planned.  

We have exceptional infection control measures in place and have been advised by a senior member of NSW Public Health and a medical specialist on these policies that we have in place.

  • Classes have been limited in size.

  • The 4sqm and 1.5m social distancing guidelines apply in all our classes.

  • We encourage hand sanitisation as people enter and before they leave (and whenever they like during the course).

  • Our trainers have been instructed to space chairs out, have breaks every 2 hours, sanitise all surfaces, door handles etc with Viraclean (or equivalent) at each break and air the room during break.

  • There are gloves that you can use for your assessments.

  • Some of the assessments have been modified as you will see on the day. 

  • We have a sign on the door reminding people not to enter if they have travelled internationally in the last 14 days (these notifications are also on our websites and are in the terms and conditions that students must acknowledge before they can be enrolled).

  • Our staff have had professional development on maintaining their own personal hygiene and on Coronavirus in general

 

General Illness

Anyone with a fever or history of fever and acute respiratory infection (with at least one of the following symptoms: shortness of breath, cough or sore throat) should also defer enrolment until they are well.

Liquor and Gaming NSW Approved Training Provider #CCR10000169

 

It is a requirement of the Gaming Machines Act 2001 for proposed hoteliers, secretary managers and staff who will have gaming machine related functions to have completed the NSW Responsible Conduct of Gambling course (RCG).

 

The SITHGAM001 - Provide responsible gambling services (RCG) competency is the foundation for mandatory training on responsible gambling for new hoteliers, secretary managers and gaming-related staff.

 

This course is conducted over a minimum of six hours. There are no exemptions from this course.

 

RCG training undertaken interstate is not recognised in NSW.

English Language Skills Required

Spoken English is needed for in-class role plays. Written English is needed for written assessments completed in-class.

Prior Knowledge

No prior knowledge is required.

Course Times

Our classes run from 8.45am to 3.15pm. 

Who can Enrol

Anyone who has never previously held a competency card or whose competency card has been expired for more than 28 days. (On the other hand, if you are simply renewing, click here.

Course Outcomes

For RCG course participants you will receive:

  • Liquor & Gaming NSW interim RCG Certificate
  • Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment
  • Plastic wallet size card (will be mailed by Liquor and Gaming NSW)

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed by written questions and role plays.

What do I bring?

Candidates must bring one form of original photo ID on the day of the course (passport, Australian Drivers License or RTA Proof of Age Card).

Cancellation policy

We are unable to refund monies for students who do not turn up for classes or decide at a later date after booking that that they do not want to attend. Changes to class times are allowed, but not within 48 hours of the class commencing.
